Billing and Insurance

You will receive an easy to understand, all-inclusive bill for the services provided at The Chevy Chase Endoscopy Center.  In addition, you can expect a separate bill from your physician and if tissue samples are obtained there will be another bill for the pathology services.

We will be happy to discuss the extent and limitations of your insurance to make sure you are fully aware of your coverage.

Please feel free to call our billing office at 1-877-347-0992 with any questions you may have about billing arrangements.  Most health insurance carriers support and reimburse freestanding surgery centers because they are generally less expensive than the hospitals.

Self-Pay

Self-pay patients are welcome at our center. As with insured patients, we will be happy to discuss payment arrangements
with you.

Participating Health Plans

If your health plan requires a referral, please bring it with you at the time of the procedure.  Some health plans may not be listed below.  Please speak to a staff member to see if it is a recent addition. If your procedure is being covered under Workman's Compensation, please be prepared to provide us with the necessary information.
